How did you hear about SISEC? A former hockey friend told me about the SISEC program and this made me curious. So she gave me the address.
Basically I am here because of the language but as longer as I have been staying here as more I start to like the sport. A lot of my English skills I’ve learned at the ranch.
Yes of course. I always wanted to do something else after finishing my apprenticeship.
What was your first impression of Canada and Canadians? The people here are all very nice, sometimes a little bit crazy but they welcome you quickly.
Yes it was. I felt very fast comfortable at the new place. My housemates showed me everything necessarily.
I made
the experience that if you want to learn English very well it is better
to go to a homestayfamily, because there you have to speak English every
day, if you want or not.
My goal is to improve my English and sport skills and of course to meet a lot of new friends.
My horseback riding teacher is a very nice person and she is always motivating me to exercise stronger and harder and also my horse is great. Also I had the opportunity to take part at a horse show. It was a great experience.
How important is sport in your life? It means for me health. My goal is to get in a good shape and to do something for my body.
The teachers are all very amusing and every week there is a different school activity for everyone who is interested. It is very interesting to meet lots of people from different countries and learn something about their culture.
My most positive experience so far was of course the horse show I could take part at. |
